No workforce in the state of Washington has more at stake in decisions made by the Legislature than state employees.
The Legislature has control over our wages, benefits, and pensions. They adopt a state budget that determines the funding level for the services we provide. They consider countless bills every year that can have an impact on everything from our working conditions to our job security. One of the most important ways we can help fight for our lunchbox issues (wages, safety, health benefits, pensions) is by electing legislators who support WFSE priorities.
The good news is that members and our legislative & political action committee (LPAC) have already done the hard part in vetting legislators who support WFSE priorities. You can find the full list of WFSE endorsed candidates here.
DO NOT FORGET TO TURN IN YOUR BALLOT BY 11/03!
