Take Action

GET YOUR BALLOT IN BY 11/03

No workforce in the state of Washington has more at stake in decisions made by the Legislature than state employees.

The Legislature has control over our wages, benefits, and pensions. They adopt a state budget that determines the funding level for the services we provide. They consider countless bills every year that can have an impact on everything from our working conditions to our job security. One of the most important ways we can help fight for our lunchbox issues (wages, safety, health benefits, pensions) is by electing legislators who support WFSE priorities.

Ballots turned in at a ballot box are due 11/03 at 8:00 pm.

If you are mailing your ballot the Secretary of State recommends mailing your ballot over a week before election day, 11/03.

Officer elections for local 313 will be held on November 18th at 6:00 pm during the general monthly meeting.
The November monthly meeting will be held at Olive Garden at 16405 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98683.

Sign up for Lobby Days!

If you have been following along with the recent contract negotiations then you know that our work is not done yet. WFSE members just voted to ratify the tentative agreement and now we need to make sure it is included in the budget that will be passed during the 2027 legislative session. We need all members to get involved by singing up to lobby. WFSE will help by paying for travel expenses and scheduling you with your legislators. All you need to do is sign up and let us help take care of the rest. If you have any questions, please email support@wfselocal313.org
